Join us for a book discussion on Broken Glass: Mies van der Rohe, Edith Farnsworth, and the Fight Over a Modernist Masterpiece by Alex Beam on Wednesday, November 29th from 6:50 pm to 7:50 pm. This 309-page book centers on the relationship between architect Miles Van Der Rohe and Edith Farnsworth, the building of historic Farnsworth house in Plano, Illinois, and the trial between Mies and Edith.

Moderated by Joanne Hachtel, a Port Byron resident, a Friend of River Valley District Library, and a docent at the Figge Art Museum in Davenport. This book is a selection of the Art Lovers Book Club at the Figge.
