Join River Valley District Library and The Fryxell Geology Museum for an guided tour and 30-minute program all about fossils and minerals. We will meet at the museum at 9:50am and begin our tour at 10:00am.

Arriving and Parking at the Planetarium & Museum
The Fryxell Geology Museum is located in the Swenson Hall of Geosciences (820 38th Street, Rock Island). Click here for a campus map.  We recommend parking either on 38th Street or in the WVIK parking lot right off of 38th Street.  You may also park in the lot in Lincoln Park.  Please use the 38th Street campus entrance with the Fryxell Geology Museum sign when walking onto campus.  You will walk up a small hill to the Admissions parking lot and continue on the path to Swenson Geosciences building with the dinosaur visible through the lobby windows!
